PARTY BUS HIRE TERMS & CONDITIONS (UK)

These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made with NTCC Consulting Ltd (t/a Party Bus London).
By paying a deposit or confirming a booking, the Hirer agrees to the following:

1. Definitions

Hirer: The person making the booking and responsible for payment and passenger conduct.

Passengers: All persons travelling on the vehicle.

Service Period: The agreed hire start and finish time.

2. Booking & Payment

2.1 A non-refundable booking fee of 50% is required to secure the date, unless otherwise confirmed in writing.

2.2 The remaining balance must be paid no later than 2 days prior to the hire date.

2.3 Failure to pay the balance on time may result in cancellation of the booking without refund of the deposit.

2.4 Prices may include VAT where applicable and will be clearly stated on your invoice.

3. Cancellation Policy

3.1 Deposits are non-refundable.

3.2 Cancellations made more than 28 days before the hire date may receive a partial refund (excluding deposit).

3.3 Cancellations within 28 days of the hire date are non-refundable.

3.4 The Company reserves the right to cancel due to vehicle breakdown, safety concerns, severe weather, or circumstances beyond its control. In such cases, an alternative vehicle or refund will be offered.

4. Passenger Safety (IMPORTANT)

4.1 All passengers must remain seated or securely holding onto fixed handrails/approved supports at all times while the vehicle is in motion.

4.2 Standing without holding on, moving around excessively, or engaging in unsafe behaviour while the vehicle is moving is strictly prohibited.

4.3 Any passenger choosing not to remain seated or properly holding on does so entirely at their own risk and liability.

4.4 The Company and driver shall not be liable for injury resulting from a passenger’s failure to follow safety instructions.

4.5 The driver reserves the right to stop the vehicle until passengers comply with safety requirements.

5. Smoking & Vaping Policy

5.1 Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited on the vehicle in accordance with the Health Act 2006 and UK smoke-free legislation.

5.2 Any breach will result in an immediate cleaning charge of £100 and may result in termination of service without refund.

6. Alcohol Policy

6.1 Alcohol consumption is permitted only for passengers aged 18 or over.

6.2 The Hirer is responsible for ensuring no underage drinking occurs.

6.3 The Company reserves the right to refuse alcohol consumption if behaviour becomes unsafe or disorderly.

7. Conduct & Prohibited Behaviour

The following are strictly prohibited:

• Illegal drugs or substances
• Violent, abusive, or threatening behaviour
• Damage to the vehicle
• Interfering with the driver
• Extending body parts outside the vehicle

The driver may terminate the hire immediately without refund if any of the above occurs.

8. Damage & Cleaning Charges

8.1 The Hirer is fully responsible for any damage caused by passengers.

8.2 Excessive cleaning (including spillages, bodily fluids, or litter) will incur a minimum charge of £50.

8.3 Vomit or bodily fluid cleaning fee: minimum £100.

8.4 Repair or replacement costs will be charged to the Hirer.

9. Liability

9.1 The Company holds appropriate motor insurance as required by UK law.

9.2 The Company shall not be liable for:

• Loss or damage to personal property
• Delays caused by traffic, road closures, weather, or circumstances beyond its control

9.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

9.4 Subject to clause 9.3, the Company’s liability is limited to the total hire fee paid.

10. Mechanical Breakdown

In the event of breakdown, the Company will make reasonable efforts to provide a replacement vehicle. If this is not possible, liability is limited to a pro-rata refund for unused time.

The Company shall not be liable for failure to perform due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, road accidents, government restrictions, or emergencies.
